
Tulane Earns Seven Singles Victories in the Cajuns Classic

LAFAYETTE, La. – In a day of only singles action on Saturday, Tulane University Men's Tennis hit its stride earning wins in seven of its eight matches on the day. Three different players for the Green Wave posted an undefeated record on day two of the Cajuns Classic.
In Flight 1, Fynn Kuenkler and Alex Bancila each ran the table in their singles matches to go 2-0 on the day. Kuenkler earned a pair of three set wins while Bancila picked up a win thanks to a withdrawal and added another in three sets.
Luc Hoeijmans joined the Saturday undefeated club in Flight 2 by also going 2-0. He picked up each of his victories in two sets. Rafael de Alba began his day with a win but dropped his second match to finish 1-1.
On Sunday, Bancila and de Alba will team up to face George Stoupe and Ben Koch from LSU in the Flight 2 doubles finals. The is scheduled to start at 8:30 a.m.
