Green Wave Wraps Up Play in the Roberta Alison Fall Classic

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Tulane University Women's Tennis added another six victories on the final day of the Roberta Alison Fall Classic on Saturday. The Green Wave picked up three wins in doubles and in singles competition to finish the tournament with 12 total victories.

Sean Mullen played with Jiayun Zhu to lead the way for the Wave in doubles play. The pair won both of their matches on Saturday defeating duos from Michigan State (6-2) and Troy (6-1). The team of Kristen Borland and Brooke Theis earned the other doubles win for Tulane over another pair from Troy (6-3).

In singles action Borland and Mullen each picked up another win to add to their Saturday performance along with Lily Walther who wrapped up her weekend in the win column.

Up next, Yelamanchili will rejoin Charlotte Russell in doubles competition for the ITA National Fall Championships in San Diego, California, beginning on Wednesday, November 2.
