Tulane Finishes Bama Invite; Kuenkler in Action Monday Morning

TUSCALOOSA, AL - The Tulane doubles team of Benji Jacobson and Sam Scherer fell in the finals of Alabama's Four-In-The-Fall Tournament on Sunday.
Jacobson, a fifth-year senior and Scherer, a freshman, dropped the contest to Joao Ferreira and Zach Foster of the host Crimson Tide by the score of 6-3 on the final day of competition.
Both Green Wave players then competed in singles, with Jacobson falling to Foster by the score of 7-6 (5), 6-1 and Ferreira downing Scherer 6-3, 7-5.
In other action, Fynn Kuenkler is set to compete Monday morning in the qualifying round of the Men's Open singles draw at the ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The junior from Bielefeld, Germany will face Michael Zheng of Columbia at 8 a.m. in the first match of a draw that consists of 128 players.
