
Bancila and de Alba Win Doubles Finals at the Cajuns Classic

LAFAYETTE, La. – The final day of the Cajuns Classic hosted by Louisiana-Lafayette was highlighted by a victory in the doubles finals for Tulane University Men's Tennis duo Alex Bancila and Rafael de Alba on Sunday. The Green Wave closed out the three-day event with a four-win day overall.
Bancila and de Alba closed out their strong weekend performance with a victory over LSU duo George Stoupe and Ben Koch 6-1 to win the Flight 2 Doubles bracket. The Wave picked up another doubles win on the day as Fynn Kuenkler and Luc Hoeijmans teamed up for a 6-4 victory in the consolation draw.
In the final singles action of the tournament, Kuenkler and de Alba each earned one more win to add to their belt to close out the weekend.
Up next, Tulane will compete in either the CCB Invitation in Birmingham, Alabama, or the Gator Fall Invite in Gainesville, Florida, November 4-6.
