Track & Field Announces 2022-23 Schedule
Nov 29, 2022 | Track & Field
NEW ORLEANS â The Tulane University Track & Field program unveiled its 2022-23 indoor and outdoor schedules on Tuesday.
Â
"As we continue to elevate our program here, we must also continue to elevate the competitiveness of our schedule," thoughtfully explained Tulane Director of Track & Field / Cross Country Adrian Myers. "The team bus is getting harder to make because the meets will be tougher to qualify for. We want a culture that takes pride in performing at big meets in preparation for our championship seasons. This schedule is a step in that direction and one that best sets us up for our goals in the post-season. Peaking at the American Athletic Conference Indoor and Outdoor Championships and the NCAA Indoor and Outdoor Championships is where we want to be at the end of our competition cycle. It'll be exciting to see how we respond to this level of competition and know that regardless of immediate outcomes, we will continue to foster competitive growth to where we want to be."
The program begins indoor season on December 2 with a trip to Birmingham, Alabama for the BSC Icebreaker at the Crossplex.
The program then takes a break for the holidays and will next be on the track from Jan. 13-14 at the Rod McCravy Memorial in Lexington, Kentucky.
