
Green Wave Golf Finishes Fifth at Reynolds Lake Oconee Invite

GREENSBORO, GA. - The Tulane University women's golf team finished out the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invite in fifth place on Sunday in Greensboro, Georgia.
Tulane combined for a team total 910 while East Tennessee State took the invite with 887.
Freshman Carla Bernat had the best day for the Green Wave shooting -2 in the third round for a total card of 70. She finished the tournament tied for 18th totaling 225.
The best overall score for Tulane came from junior Sandra Vazquez who finished tied for 16th after shooting +2 in round three. Vazquez finished with a total of 224.
Carlota Palacios and Cleo Liu both finished the invite tied for 36th scoring 231 through three rounds. Palacios shot +4 in the final round, while Liu shot +7.
Rounding out the Green Wave team is freshman Matilde Innocenti who shot +9 in the final round and totaled 244 in the invite.
The Green Wave are back in action Monday, Mar 8, when they head to Dallas for the Trinity Forest Invitational.
