
Tulane Golf Heads to Dallas for Trinity Forest Invitaional

DALLAS – The Tulane University women's golf team is set to take part in the Trinity Forest Invitational this Monday and Tuesday. The two-day tournament features the 6460, par 72 course at Trinity Forest Golf Club in Dallas.
The girls of the Green Wave are coming off a fifth-place finish at the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational.

The starting lineup for Tulane includes Carlota Palacios, Carla Bernat, Matilde Innocenti, Cleo Liu and Sandra Vazquez. Miriam Emmert will compete as an individual.Â

LAST TIME OUT – Reynolds Lake Oconee Invite
The best overall score for Tulane came from junior Sandra Vazquez who finished tied for 16th after shooting +2 in round three. Vazquez finished with a total of 224.

Freshman Carla Bernat had the best second day for the Green Wave shooting -2 in the third round for a total card of 70. She finished the tournament tied for 18th totaling 225.

Carlota Palacios and Cleo Liu both finished the invite tied for 36th scoring 231 through three rounds. Palacios shot +4 in the final round, while Liu shot +7.

Rounding out the Green Wave team is freshman Matilde Innocenti who shot +9 in the final round and totaled 244 in the invite.
