
Beach Volleyball heads to LSU for the Tiger Beach Challenege

NEW ORLEANS — Tulane beach volleyball (4-1) heads to Baton Rouge this weekend to compete in the Tiger Beach Challenge hosted by No. 6 LSU.
The Olive and Blue will face Texas A&M Kingsville at 1 p.m. and Southern Miss at 6 p.m. on Saturday at the LSU Beach Volleyball Stadium, before matching up against Stephen F. Austin at 8:00 a.m. and Loyola Marymount at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday.
"Our team is eager to get out there and compete again this weekend in Baton Rouge," head coach Eyal Zimet said. "We had a great week of practice at White Sands and we are proud of the teams effort and attitude heading into battle. Looking to keep improving from one week to the next. H&H and Roll Wave!"
Tulane has met Kingsville three times, sweeping Javelin's 5-0 in each meeting.
In what will be their first of four meetings this year, Tulane will matchup with the 0-4 Golden Eagles. The Wave holds a 7-0 record against Southern Miss.
This will be Tulane's first matchup against Stephen F. Austin, who currently holds a record of 5-1 in 2022.

The Green Wave will also have its first meeting with No. 4 Loyola Marymount, who currently sit at 4-0 with wins over No. 11 California and No. 17 Stetson.

"We are so excited to get back out on the sand, use the tools we worked on in practice this week, and continue to get better as a team!" assistant coach Jade Hayes said.
