Tulane Sailing to Host Garner-Tullis Team Race This Weekend

NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane University sailing COED team will host four programs to compete in the Garner-Tullis Team Race on Saturday and Sunday in New Orleans. Racing will begin at 10 a.m. each day on the waters of Lake Pontchartrain.
The Green Wave will have two teams competing in the regatta along with teams from South Florida, Jacksonville, Miami and Old Dominion.
The Tulane COED crew is coming off a second-place finish at the Aaron Szambecki Team Race hosted by Old Dominion last weekend. The Wave finished the regatta with an 8-1team ended the Szambecki Team Race hosted by Old Dominion with an 10-3 record on the water which included wins over a pair of this weekend's opponents in Jacksonville and Old Dominion.
The is scheduled to feature five round robins with racing beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday and Sunday on Lake Pontchartrain.
Following the Garner-Tullis Team Race, the Green Wave sailing team will host the SEISA Team Race Championships on April 9-10 on the waters of Lake Pontchartrain.
