Apr 8, 2022 | Women's Tennis
NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane University women's tennis will travel to Memphis, Tennessee, for a pair of matches this weekend against Cincinnati and No. 54 Memphis. The Green Wave will face the Bearcats of Cincinnati at 11 a.m. CT on Saturday before squaring off against the Tigers on Sunday morning at 9:30 CT.
Tulane enters the weekend with a 10-7 record overall on the season and a 1-5 mark in road matches this year.
The Green Wave and Cincinnati have only met once in program history with Tulane claiming the lone victory. The Wave defeated the Bearcats 6-1 in New Orleans on March 16, 2015, in their only matchup.
Tulane and the Tigers have faced off six times in program history with the Green Wave holding a 4-2 advantage in the all-time series. The Wave defeated Memphis in the latest matchup 4-3 on April 14, 2021, in New Orleans. Tulane has never beaten the Tigers in Memphis as the Green Wave lost the only meeting in the Home of the Blues by a score of 5-2 on March 18, 2018.
