Tulane Picks Up Seven Wins on Day Two at the Samford Invitational
Sep 24, 2022 | Women's Tennis
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Tulane University women's tennis team put together another strong performance in singles action, rebounding for seven solo wins on Saturday. The Green Wave started slow but bounced back in a big way after the doubles competition to post an 8-6 mark.
After failing to secure a victory on the doubles courts, the Green Wave enforced its will in singles against players from Samford, Middle Tennessee and UAB. Seven of the nine Tulane players in action claimed their second singles win of the weekend to help the Green Wave move to 19-7 on the weekend.
