Jan 13, 2023 | Women's Swimming and Diving
DALLAS – Tulane swimming and diving competed in day one of a triple dual meet with the SMU Mustangs this evening grabbing two top-four finishes.
"We are getting a great opportunity to rehearse most of our conference events this weekend in the pool they will be competing in a month from now," head coach Amanda Codwell said. "It is good to see some of the details they have been focusing on so hard all season popping up. Especially in our IM, backstroke and some of our free swims today. Looking forward to some of our stronger events tomorrow."
The 400-yard medley relay team kicked things off for Tulane finishing seventh. The team made up of Gianna Spremullo, Autumn Keats-O'Connor, Bella Lojewski, and Olcaytu Hatipoglu had a time of 3:59.67.
Sophomore Danielle Titus would continue her consistent success in the 100-yard back with a 56.49 to lock down the third place finish.
Mya Drost-Parra would take fourth in the 400-yard IM with a time of 4:31.03 and Kate Amar followed closely with a time of 4:34.27.
Tulane returns to action tomorrow for day two of the meet at 10 a.m.
