
Tulane Ready to Race in ACC Open Championship

NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane University sailing team travels to St. Mary's City, Maryland, this weekend to compete in the Atlantic Coast Open Championship on Saturday and Sunday. The Green Wave finished eighth overall in the ACC Open Semifinals on October 8.
Tulane landed 16th out of 18 teams in the ACC Open Championship last fall in New London, Connecticut. The Wave ended the regatta with 337 total points through 14 rotations.
All 18 of the teams competing in the ACC Open Championship will enter the regatta ranked in the latest Sailing World ICSA College Sailing Open Ranking including the winner of the 2022 ACC Open Championship, Harvard.
Racing for the ACC Open Championship will take place at the James P. Muldoon River Center on the waters of the St. Mary's River. Competition will begin at 9 a.m. CT on Saturday and Sunday.
Results for the ACC Open Championship will be posted HERE following each day of racing.
