Tulane Hoops Hullabaloo is Back Tuesday Night

NEW ORLEANS – Come get your first look at the 2023-24 Tulane University men's and women's basketball teams at the second annual Hoops Hullabaloo tipoff event on Tuesday, October 24, inside Avron B. Fogelman Arena in the Devlin Fieldhouse.

Doors will open for Hoops Hullabaloo at 6:30 p.m. with action on the court beginning at 7 p.m. Admission for all fans is FREE.

The Tulane men's and women's student-athletes will showcase their talents on the court in a skills competition, a three-point competition, and a dunk contest. Participating in the skills contest will be McKenzi Carter, Irina Parau, Marta Galic, and Lily Ba from the Green Wave women's team. The dunk contest will feature Sion James, Spencer Elliott, and Mier Panoam from the men's team.

The night will also feature a DJ and performances from the Tulane Band and Spirit Squads. One lucky student will also get the chance to win $10,000 if they make a halfcourt shot at the end of the event.

The regular season for both teams will open with a doubleheader on Monday, November 6, inside Avron B. Fogelman Arena in the Devlin Fieldhouse. The women's team will face Stetson at 5 p.m., followed by the men's team against Nicholls at 8 p.m.

Tickets for the 2023-24 season can be purchased by calling 504-861-WAVE (9283), logging on to TulaneTix.com or visiting the ticket office at the James W. Wilson Jr. Center. Men's basketball season tickets are available for just $75 and women's basketball season tickets start at just $50.
