No. 22 Bowling Goes 4-1 On the Second Day of the Motiv Ladyjack Classic

Kenosha, Wisconsin– The No. 22 nationally ranked Tulane University bowling team put together a 4-1 record on the second day of the Motiv Ladyjack Classic, held at Sheridan Lanes in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The program totaled 4,753 pins on the second day. The team is 7-3 overall in the first two days of the tournament and reside in seventh place with 9,604 pins.
The Green Wave started the day with a 995-895 victory over Carthage. The team then defeated McKendree by a 988-834 margin. The team fell in the third game by a 943-934 margin to Marian but rallied for the 937-914 win over Lewis in the fourth game and the 899-869 victory over Stephen F. Austin in the fifth game of the day.
Kristen Derr led the program 1,041 pins and an average of 208.2 to rank 12th. She had individual games of 238, 203,184, 204 and 212
Morgan Gitlitz finished in the top 30 with 995 pins, an average of 199 to rank 24th. She had individual games 205, 186, 212, 200 and 192.
Emma Fetterman also finished in the top 30 with 967 pins, an average of 193.4 to rank 29th. She had individual games of 190, 202, 183, 187 and 205.
Katharina Mente took 50th with 886 pins and a 177.2 average. She had individual games of 191, 176, 191, 178 and 150.
Mia Stolakis finished 79th with 385 pins and an average of 192.5 in two games. She had individual games of 221 and 164.
Yarelis Alvarez placed 88th with 339 pins and an average of 169.5. She had individual games of 171 and 161.
Juanelyz Solla had 140 pins in her only game
On the third day, teams will compete in three rounds of match play in a playoff bracket. Each of the rounds in match play will be a best-of-seven baker match. Tulane and Stephen F. Austin will square off first on Sunday.
