
Men’s Tennis Reveals Spring 2024 Slate

NEW ORLEANS- Head men's tennis coach, Mark Booras, announced the schedule for the upcoming spring 2024 season. The schedule will feature matches against nine teams that finished in the ITA Collegiate Tennis Rankings Top 75 after last spring.
This Green Wave will play five matches against SEC or Big 12 opponents, seven matches against AAC rivals, and two invitational tournaments.
The home schedule for Tulane will feature 10 total matches including six of those being against teams that finished ranked last spring. All home matches for the Green Wave will be played at City Park Tennis Center.
The Green Wave will have seven matches away from home this season including competing in the ITA Kickoff and the San Diego Invitational.
The 2023 AAC Conference Championships are scheduled for April 18-21 in Tulsa, OK. The NCAA Men's Tennis Regional Championships is slated to be May 4-5th. The location of regionals is to be determined.
The season will be underway on January 20th when the Green Wave travels to Alabama to take on the Tigers of Auburn University.
To wrap up the month of January, Tulane will travel to Tuscan, AZ to participate in the ITA Kickoff tournament.
The Green Wave will kick off February by hosting AAC rival, Rice and non-conference opponent, Southern University on February 3rd.
On February 9th, Tulane will travel to Baton Rouge to take on SEC foe, LSU.
For the remainder of February, the Green Wave will host four straight home matches. Tulane will first host UNCW on February 9th. Then, on February 21st, the Green Wave will welcome Oklahoma St. Tulane will have a two-day turnaround then host Ole Miss on February 23rd. Tulane will have another quick turnaround and host another SEC opponent, Mississippi State, on February 25th.
Tulane will kick off March by hosting AAC rival Tulsa on March 1st. Then, they will welcome conference newcomer, Charlotte, to New Orleans on March 3rd. Tulane will then host cross-town rival, UNO, on March 8th. The Green Wave will wrap up their eight-match home stretch on March 10th when they take on USF.
Tulane will then travel to San Diego, CA to participate in the San Diego Invitational on March 15-17. The Green Wave will return home for a match on March 22nd to host Jackson State.
Tulane will then finish the season on the road. They will first head to Dallas to take on the 2023 AAC champions, SMU. The Green Wave will then take on Memphis on April 12th in Memphis, TN. Tulane will wrap up the regular season on April 21st when they travel to Middle Tennessee.
The Green Wave returns eight members of the 2022-23 squad that finished second in the conference last season. Tulane also welcomes two newcomers who will compete in the 2024 season.
