Green Wave Finishes AAC Championship in Dallas

DALLAS, TX – The Tulane swimming and diving team wrapped up its 2023 American Athletic Conference Championship with numerous individual accomplishments to close out the weekend.
They were as follows:
Kate Amar, 1:59.60, 200 fly (Lifetime-best and now second all-time at Tulane)
Olcaytu Hatipoglu, 52.18, 100 free (Lifetime-best)
Elena Gingras, 17:21.72, 1650 free (Tulane-best)
Mya Drost-Parra, 1:58.44, 200 back (Season-best)
Reese Dunkenberger, 2:04.01, 200 back (Season-best)
Gianna Spremullo, 2:00.94, 200 back (Season-best)
Riley Hendrix, 51.79, 100 free (Season-best)
Liv Davison, 2:23.34, 200 breast (Season-best)
Jennifer Gougelmann, 17:41.73, 1650 free (Season-best)
Drost-Parra took fifth in the 200 back final, while Spremullo and Dunkenberger went 18th and 23rd, respectively, swimming in the C final.
Amar made the A final in the 200 fly and finished seventh, while Drost-Parra took part in the B final and recorded a 13th-place finish.
The Green Wave's 400 free relay team of Hatipoglu, Grace Dale, Hendrix and Amar finished ninth.
Sydney Mullin led the charge in the 1650 free and placed 15th.
Davison came home 24th in the 200 breast and competed in the C final.
