NEW ORLEANS – Tulane University Beach Volleyball will begin the 2023 spring season this weekend as it hosts the Green Wave Invitational at White Sands Volleyball Courts.
The Green Wave will host LSU, New Orleans, Nicholls, and New Orleans for the two-day tournament.
On Saturday Tulane will square off against LSU and New Orleans. The matches against LSU will take place at 9:30 and 10:45 Saturday morning with the contests against New Orleans to follow in the afternoon at 3:00 and 4:15.
The Wave played the Tigers twice last season falling 1-4 in the Green Wave Invitational and 0-5 at the CCSA Conference Championship. Tulane split its two meetings against the Privateers last season defeating New Orleans 5-0 in the Tulane Classic and dropping the match 2-3 at the Southern Miss Invitational II.
The Green Wave will play North Alabama and Nicholls on Sunday. Tulane and Lions will take the courts at 9:30 and 10:45 Sunday morning before the Wave faces the Colonels at 2:45 and 4:00 that afternoon.
