
Men's Basketball Falls to Memphis in AAC Tournament Semifinals

FORT WORTH, Texas – Tulane Men's Basketball fell to Memphis by score of 94-54 in the American Athletic Conference Semifinals on Saturday evening.
Tulane's record dropped to 20-11 overall, having gone 12-6 in conference play. Both are season bests for the team since joining the AAC.
Jalen Cook led Tulane in scoring with 15 points. Kevin Cross followed with 12 points, seven rebounds, five assists and two blocks. Tylan Pope tied his career high 13 rebounds.
Tulane shot just 25.8 percent from the field and 18.5 percent from beyond the arc, both season lows.
Tulane got off to a quick 10-5 lead before Memphis got hot. The Tigers would lead by as much as 25 in the first half, sending Tulane to the locker room with a 42-17 lead.
Memphis wouldn't let up in the second half and was able to get its first win over Tulane this season with the semifinals victory.
This is the third season in a row Tulane has fallen in the AAC tournament semifinals.
