Tulane Tees Off in Florida State Match Up This Weekend

NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane golf team returns to the course to compete in the Florida State Match Up at the Seminole Legacy Golf Club this weekend.

The team is coming off a seventh-place finish at the Trinity Forest Invitational in Dallas.

Tulane's lineup consists of Carla Bernat, Sandra Vazquez, Cleo Liu, Matilde Innocenti and Miriam Emmert. Carlota Palacios is along to compete as an individual.

The field consists of East Tennessee State, No. 27 Kentucky, Notre Dame, Daytona State, Mercer, No. 12 Florida State, No. 59 Oklahoma, No. 53 Purdue, No. 38 Kent State, Augusta State and Coastal Carolina.

Bernat is coming off a personal tournament score and Tulane women's golf low of 13-under par at the Trinity Forest Invitational. The sophomore currently ranks eighth in the country and is the highest rated player in the American Athletic Conference.

The Florida State Match Up begins at 8:45 a.m. on Friday and Saturday and at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday. Live scoring can be found here.
