SAN DIEGO, CA – Tulane recorded a sweep of the bottom of the singles action after snaring the doubles points against San Diego State to shutout the Aztecs 4-0 Saturday at SDSU's Aztec Tennis Center. The match took place on the second day of competition at the Ed Collins Spring Classic.
The 35th-ranked Green Wave got on the scoreboard first after Benji Jacobson and Charlie Barry clinched the doubles point with a 6-3 win at No. 1 over SDSU's 80th-ranked tandem of Johannes Seeman and Chikaya Sato. Moments earlier, Billy Suarez and Rafael de Alba were also victorious at No. 3 (6-2).
