
Tulane Hosts UNO and Southeastern for Bayou Beach Duals Thursday

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane University Beach Volleyball (11-5) will be back at home to host the Bayou Beach Duals on Thursday. The Green Wave will welcome in-state foes New Orleans (10-6) and Southeastern Louisiana (5-13) at White Sands Volleyball Courts.

Play is set to begin at 12:30 p.m. between the Wave and the UNO Privateers. That match will be followed by a dual between Southeastern and UNO scheduled to start at 2:30 p.m. Competition will conclude with Tulane squaring off against the Southeastern Lions at 4:30 p.m.

The Green Wave holds a 14-1 record against UNO including a 7-0 mark at home. Tulane defeated the Privateers earlier this season 5-0 in the Green Wave Invitational on February 25.

Tulane has only faced Southeastern once in program history. The Wave defeated the Lions 5-0 in that meeting in the 2021 Green Wave Invitational.

Following Bayou Beach Duals, the Green Wave will head out west for back-to-back tournaments. Tulane will compete in the Cal Poly Invitational Saturday and Sunday, April 1-2, before heading up the California coast to play in the Stanford Invitational Wednesday, April 5.
