NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane women's tennis team surrendered the doubles point to visiting VCU but came back with four singles victories to edge the Rams 4-3 Friday afternoon at the City Park Tennis Center.

Â
Kristen Borland and Brooke Theis secured a 6-2 win at No. 3 doubles but the visitors took the top two contests to grab a 1-0 lead in the overall match.
