Oklahoma State Edges Tulane in Top 50 Matchup

STILLWATER, OK – Oklahoma State's Chase Ferguson and Tulane's Billy Suarez played the only three-set match of the afternoon, with the former coming out on top to give the host Cowboys a 4-3 win Sunday afternoon in Stillwater.
The 36th-ranked Cowboys moved to 12-6 with the triumph, while the 43rd-ranked Green Wave fell to 11-8.
The Olive and Blue's Suarez and Benji Jacobson won 6-2 at No. 2 doubles but the home team took what would prove to be the crucial overall point.
Tulane received straight set wins at No. 2 by Luka Petrovic (6-4, 6-4), No. 5 by Alex Bancila (6-4, 6-0) and Rafael de Alba at No. 6 (6-2, 6-1).
The Green Wave is back in action in Tampa on Saturday against SMU (1 p.m.) and Monday against the host Bulls (12:30 p.m.).
