Tulane Golf Leaves the Mainland for Maui in Last Regular Season Tournament

NEW ORLEANS - Tulane Golf heads to Maui to compete in the Ānuenue Spring Break Classic at the Kā'anapali Golf Courses' Royal Course Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in Kā'anapali, Maui.
Hosted by the University of Hawai'i women's golf team, the field features 14 teams including Hawai'i, Boise State, Brigham Young, Cal Poly, No. 41 Denver, Gonzaga, New Mexico State, No. 25 Pepperdine, San Francisco, Santa Clara, Seattle, Stanford (individuals only), UC Davis and No. 30 UCLA.
Participants will play 54 holes at the 6,013-yard, par-72 Royal Course with shotgun starts at 8:00 a.m. each day.
Tulane's lineup includes Carla Bernat, Cleo Liu, Sandra Vazquez, Miriam Emmert and Carlota Palacios. Matilde Innocenti also made the trip and will compete as an individual for the Green Wave.
This is Tulane's final tournament of the regular season. Ranked 59th in the country, the Green Wave has its sights set on another post season run this spring. The Olive and Blue won the American Athletic Conference Tournament last season, earning a trip to an NCAA Regional.
Bernat remains the eighth-ranked golfer in the country and will face four other top 100 ranked individuals this week.
