Bernat Places Second While Tulane Finishes Fifth in Maui

MAUI, HI – Tulane Golf finished in fifth place on Wednesday afternoon in the Anuenue Spring Break Classic.
No. 25 Pepperdine took the team title having shot 18-under. Tulane also finished behind No. 41 Denver and No. 30 UCLA.
Carla Bernat took second place in her third straight tournament. The sophomore was even on the day, carding 10-under on the tournament.
Miriam Emmert had the best third round card shooting 3-under. She finished 3-over on the tournament to take 26th.
Sandra Vazquez ended in a tie for 17th, while Cleo Liu rounded out the Tulane scorecard, placing 59th.
Carlota Palacios took 66th in the tournament.
As an individual, Matilde Innocenti finished 4-over to take 28th.
Tulane doesn't hit the fairway again until April 16th in the American Athletic Conference Championship.
