
Tulane Travels North for Final Regular Season Regatta

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane University Sailing will compete in its final regatta of the spring this weekend as it hits the road for the 85th Boston Dinghy Club Challenge Cup. The regatta will be hosted by MIT in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on Saturday and Sunday.

The Green Wave will race among 19 total teams in the regatta this weekend, including eight teams ranked in the Sail1Design College Open Rankings. The races will launch from the Walter C. Wood Sailing Pavilion on the Chares River. Teams will report for competition at 9:30 a.m. CT on Saturday and 8:30 a.m. on Sunday.

Following this weekend's action, the Green Wave will head to Stanford, California, to compete in the ICSA Women's Team Race Championship. The regatta will be hosted by Stanford University on Saturday and Sunday, April 29-30. Tulane will be the 5th seed out of 12 teams racing for the championship.
