
Track and Field Program Records A Pair of Top-10 School Marks on Friday

Des Moines, Iowa / Jacksonville, Fla. – Tulane's outdoor track and field program recorded a pair of school top-10 school marks between competing in a pair of meets on Friday. The program participated in the Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa at Drake Stadium and the East Coast Relays in Jacksonville, Fla. at Hodges Stadium. The team also tallied eight personal bests on the day.
At the Drake Relays, Aaron Gilliam finished sixth in the men's unseeded 1500m with his personal-record of 3:47.49. His time also ranks him fifth all-time at Tulane in the event.
At the East Coast Relays, Reese Ragland placed 13th in the women's 1500m with a personal-best 4:33.79. Her time was the ninth best in school history. Teammate Macy Turcotte earned 25th with a 4:42.53.
Tucker Poshard placed fifth in the men's 5,000m with his 14:50.12. Donie Devane ran a personal-best 15.12.88 in placing 16th. Adam Aldahir earned 29th with his 15:33.48. Charlie McLawhorn took 31st with his 15:37.54.
Maren Butler placed eighth in the women's shot put with a 13.53m/44'04.75". Bella Gonzalez earned 19th with her toss of 11.33m/37'02.25". Alyssa Dismuke took home 24th with a 10.68m/35'00.50'.
Devean Deal led Tulane in the men's shot put with a 13.13m/43'01.00" in finishing 19th. Matthew Remondet had a personal-best 12.08m/39'07.75". Francisco Roman also had a personal-best 11.04m/36'02.75" in the event.
Harper Shaw took 14th in the women's 5,000m (18:12.89).
Kristina Leggas finished 15th in the women's pole vault with a 3.65m. Kate Sander earned 18th with a 3.50m. Cosette Fleury ranked 24th with a 3.35m.
Patricija Ozolina led the Tulane group of three in the women's long jump with her 5.47m/17'11.50". Kaia Todd had a personal-best 5.30m/17'04.75". Laura Fodor also had a personal-best in the event with her 5.23m/17'02.00".
Alexis Esteves set a personal best in the women's 200m with a 26.25.
Francisco Roman III set a personal best in the men's 200m with a 23.13.
Jamie Polakoff ran a 4:12.37 in the 1,500m.
Next, the Green Wave track and field program finishes up competition with the third day of the Drake Relays and the second day of the East Coast Relays on Saturday.
