
Tulane Marches in Opening Ceremonies

CHENGDU, China – Tulane men's basketball, representing the USA National Team at the 2023 World University Games, helped officially open the 2023 Summer Universaide by marching in the opening ceremonies at Dong'an Lake Sports Park Stadium.
The team was part of a group of several hundred USA representatives to march in the opening ceremonies. The USA men's basketball team participated in the parade of nations with athletes from approximately 118 other countries before enjoying multiple performances, the flame lighting ceremony, and fireworks.

USA will begin its pursuit for the gold medal in the 2023 World University Games Saturday against Poland at 3 p.m. local time, 2 a.m. CT. The game will be played at Qingbaijiang Sports Centre Gymnasium. Fans can watch the contest online here and available on the FISU TV app.
