Volleyball’s Lauryn Burrows Named to the AAC Weekly Honor Roll

Graduate libero, Lauryn Burrows, was named to the AAC Weekly Honor Roll after her performance at the Islanders Classic this past weekend.Â
While helping the Green Wave in wins over Prairie View A&M and UTRGV, the Marietta, GA native finished with 20 or more digs in two of the three matches played while averaging 5.91 digs per set. She also had three service aces, 20 assists, and was named to the Islanders Classic All-Tournament team.Â
Burrows currently leads the AAC in digs averaging 5.39 digs per set this season.Â
The Green Wave will wrap up its non-conference portion of the season this week at the Tulane Invitational. Tulane is set to face off against UTEP this Thursday, Clemson on Friday, and finish with Houston Christian on Saturday in New Orleans.Â
