Women's Tennis Finishes Samford Invitational with 15 Wins

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Women's tennis finished out day three of the Samford Invitational Sunday with five wins to bring the tally to 15 wins on the weekend.
Duo Jiayun Zhu and Cora Barber brought home their second doubles win of the round robin after defeating Samford's Emily Surcey and Margaret Jaraczewski.Â
In singles action, Lahari Yelamanchili defeated UCA Vichitraporn Vimuktananda in a quick 6-2, 6-1 match. Zhu and Barber also picked up wins in singles to go undefeated on the day. Sean Mulled closed the wave out, defeating UCA Ting-An Park 6-4, 6-2.
The Green Wave will return home in anticipation of ITA Riviera All-America and ITA Regionals line-ups coming out. Tulane will travel to Tuscaloosa in late October for the Roberta Allison Fall Classic hosted by the University of Alabama.
