
Cross Country Set to Compete in Chicago

NEW ORLEANS - The Tulane cross country program is headed to Chicago, Illinois to compete in the 45th Sean Earl Loyola Lakefront Invitational on Friday.
The meet will showcase seven nationally ranked teams, highlighted by the top-ranked NC State women's team. In the women's race, No. 10 Wisconsin, No. 15 Alabama, and No. 29 Texas will also compete, while on the men's side, No. 10 Alabama, No. 14 Butler, and No. 18 Wisconsin will be featured. In total, 17 women's teams and 16 men's teams will participate.
The morning will begin with the women's 6k at 10 a.m. followed by the men's 8k at 10:40 a.m at the Sydney R. Marovitz Golf Course.
Tulane's top women's squad, representing the Olive and Blue, will include Caroline Jeptanui, Blezzin Kimutai, Danna Diaz, Paula Vaquera, Reese Ragland, Lili Grant, Allison Hall, Anna Schadel, Alex Sharp, and Lily Porth, all set to toe the line.
Freshman Bernard Cheruiyot, representing the Wave men, looks to continue his strong season as one of the nation's top 8k contenders, following his impressive school-record time of 22:50.4 just a few weeks ago.
Ryan Adkins, Jordan Bendura, Juan Giron, Jack Jennings, Illia Kunin, Paul Law, Paul Pam, Tucker Poshard, and Wondu Summa are also set to compete.
