Green Wave Falls to Golden Hurricane

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane Volleyball hosted the University of Tulsa on Sunday, Oct. 6, in a matinee match to wrap up the week, but fell to the visiting Golden Hurricane in its fourth conference matchup.
Jordan White and Agata Beksha both landed six kills, while White notched three block assists. Katherine Crosley hit three service aces and brought her season total to twelve. Sami Jacobs recorded the most digs for Tulane with 17; she is sixth in the conference for digs.
Sabrina Skyers led offensively, delivering seven kills off of 14 attempts. She is currently ranked eighth in the conference for hitting percentage, averaging .318. Jordan White sits at number 10, hitting .289. Skyers is also ranked sixth in blocks, averaging 1.05 per set. She has the second highest total blocks in the conference – 64.
Ava Derbes provided five kills, bringing her to twelve kills for the week. She also gave two service aces. Avery Burks and Jacobs both had 12 kills as well, along with 32 receptions for Burks.
