
Tulane Hosts Baldwin Wood Fleet Races Saturday

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane sailing will be back on the waters of Lake Pontchartrain on Saturday to host the Baldwin Wood Open and Women's Fleet Races. The Green Wave will aim to win its sixth regatta of the fall season.

This marks the fifth time the Wave will host the Baldwin Wood regatta. Tulane has won three of the four competitions including the last two. The Green Wave won the most recent Baldwin Wood regatta in 2022 as John Wood and Raquel Shulman paced all sailors to claim the top spot overall.

The regatta will feature eight teams representing Tulane and a pair of teams from Rice. Racing is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. on Lake Pontchartrain with teams set to complete 10 races.
