
Laura Fodor Leads Indoor Track & Field At the Crimson Elite & Multi

Cambridge, Mass. – Tulane's Laura Fodor set a personal record and recorded the school's fourth-best pentathlon point total of all-time to lead indoor track at the Crimson Elite & Multi on Friday, Feb. 2, on the Gordon Indoor Track at a meet hosted by Harvard University. On the day the program set nine personal bests, six season bests and had three top-7 in the AAC marks.
Fodor accumulated 3732 points to place fifth overall in the pentathlon. Her point total also ranks her second in the AAC this season. Sofie Groeninger totaled a season-best 3560 points to place 12th in the event. Her point total currently places her third in the AAC and eighth in the school record books
In the individual events of the pentathlon, Fodor was 13th in the 60m hurdles (9.10), 13th in the high jump (1.55m/5'1.00"), seventh in the shot put (11.36m/37'3.25"), fifth in the long jump (5.58m/18'3.75") and fourth in the 800m (2:20.04).
Also in the individual events of the pentathlon, Groeninger placed 14th in the 60m hurdles (9.14), 15th in the high jump (1.52m/4'11.75"), second in the shot put (12.85m/42'2.00"), 15th in the long jump (5.26m/17'3.25") and 10th in the 800m (2:30.49).
Karlijn Schouten took fourth in the pole vault with a 3.77m/12'4.50". Kate Sander picked up 11thh in the event with a 3.62m/11'10.50".
Robyn Larkan finished 17th in the 60m hurdles (8.82). The time ranks her seventh all-time at Tulane in the event. She also placed 41st in the 60m (7.80).
Kaia Todd earned fifth in the triple jump with a season-best time of 11.85m/38'10.50"). She also took 34thh in the 60m hurdles with a season-best time of 9.08.
Patricija Ozolina earned 14thh in the high jump with her season-best leap of 1.57m/5'1.75". She was 15th in the long jump with a season-best effort of 5.39m/17'8.25". She also was 36th in the 60m hurdles (9.19).
Next, Tulane heads to the Music City Classic from Feb. 9-10 in Nashville, Tenn.
