Beach Volleyball Set to Open the Season at the Green Wave Invitational

NEW ORLEANS- The Green Wave beach volleyball team will start their 2024 competition at home this weekend when they play six matches Friday and Saturday.Â
Friday's competition will kick off at 8:30 AM when the Green Wave will take on Southeastern Louisiana. Later in the afternoon, the Oregon Ducks face off with Tulane at 1:30 PM.Â
On Saturday, the Green Wave will begin bright and early again to host Stephen F. Austin at 8:30 PM. Following, at 1:30 PM, Tulane will face off against North Alabama. To round out the weekend of competition, the Green Wave will take on Spring Hill College (Ala.) at 4:00 PM.Â
Tulane welcomes back 11 returners from last season's nationally ranked, 24-10 team. They also welcome a large, talented class of six freshmen and one graduate transfer.Â
