BATON ROUGE - Women's tennis (3-1) dropped to LSU (5-1) today in Baton Rouge 6-1.Â
After the first two doubles matches, the score was split 1-1 for the doubles point with a Wave win on court three via duo Russell/Tribby. The deciding court was court two featuring Barber/Clark, who took the set to a tie-breaker but lost 6-7.
In singles, the Wave struggled to keep up dropping all but one match. The solitary win came on court two after Mackenzie Clark's opponent had to medically retire due to an injury sustained during match play.
The Wave will be back in action on Friday at 2pm as they face the Golden Hurricanes in Tulsa for their first conference match up.
