Tulane Set for Pair of Road Regattas

NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane University sailing team will be back in action this weekend for two separate road regattas in Providence, Rhode Island, and Cambridge, Massachusetts, on Saturday and Sunday. The Green Wave women's team will compete in the Dellenbaugh Women's Team Race while the Wave coed crew will be on the water for the Marchiando Trophy Team Race.

The Dellenbaugh Women's Team Race will be hosted by Brown on the Providence River at the Ted Turner '60 Sailing Pavilion/Edgewood Yacht Club. The Green Wave will be one of 10 teams in a field that includes Harvard, Brown, MIT, College of Charleston, Bowdoin, South Florida, Yale, Dartmouth, and Stanford.

Racing for the Dellenbaugh Women's Team Race is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. CT on Saturday and 9 a.m. CT on Sunday.

In Cambridge, Massachusetts, MIT will host the Marchiando Trophy Team Race Saturday and Sunday at the Walter C. Wood Sailing Pavilion. The Wave will hit the waters of the Charles River at 10 a.m CT on Saturday and Sunday.
