
Track and Field Completes Competition at the Bobcat Invitational and Multi and the Raleigh Relays on Saturday

San Marcos, Texas / Raleigh, North Carolina â Elena Liano-Rengel recorded the 10th best time in school history in the women's 800m to help lead the Tulane track and field program on Saturday at the Raleigh Relays in North Carolina. The program also finished up competition at the Bobcat Invitational and Multi in San Marcos, Texas.
Liano-Rengel was the highest finisher for Tulane in the women's 800m in 49th place with a 2:10.33 in North Carolina. The mark ranks her 10th all-time in the Tulane record books as it topped Angela Milner's 2:10.43 from 2000. Anna Schadel ran a 2:14.55 for 117th place while Reese Ragland totaled 2:18.08 to earn 160th.
Also at the Raleigh Relays, Kate Sander placed fifth in the women's pole vault with a 3.65m/11'11.75".
Zander Dunbar led the team in the men's 800m at the Raleigh Relays with a 1:53.84 in 88th place. Jalen St. Fort ran a 1:54.67 for 106th, Sam Cohen put up a 1:55.17 for 119th. Charles Henne had a personal best 1:55.46 for 123rd, while Parker Orlowsky earned 134th with a 1:57.43.
At the Bobcat Invitational and Multi, Kaia Todd earned 14th in the women's triple jump (11.94m/39'02.25"), the 4x100 relay team of Bella Carroll, Robyn Larkan, Patricija Ozolina, Tolu Ajayi, Alexis Esteves, Todd and Laura Fodor took 16th (47.78), Ozolina placed 27th in the high jump (1.56m/5'01.25"), Ajayi was the team's highest finisher in the women's 100m with a 12.46, Esteves ran a 58.72 in the 400m while Larkan earned 22nd in the 100m hurdles with a 14.41.
Next, the program heads to California to participate in the Bryan Clay Invitational from April 11-13 in Azusa, California. The team will also participate in Pacific Coast Intercollegiate in Long Beach, California starting on April 11.
