NEW ORLEANS – No. 73 Tulane University women's tennis will wrap up the regular season in No. 47 Memphis on Friday to face the Tigers in an American Athletic Conference matchup. The Green Wave will aim to close the regular season with back-to-back victories before the conference tournament next week.
Â
Tulane holds a 4-5 record against Memphis since 2009 but has lost the last three meetings. The last time the Wave defeated the Tigers came in 2021 in New Orleans by a final score of 4-3. The Green Wave has only played the Tigers in Memphis twice since 2009 and is 0-2 in those matches.
Â
Tulane is coming off a 4-2 victory over North Texas at City Park on April 7. Meanwhile, Memphis is riding a five-match win streak after beating No. 58 Wichita State in Memphis on March 31.
