
Green Wave Falls at Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Tulane University men's tennis (7-13) dropped its road matchup against American Athletic Conference foe No. 32 Memphis (16-5) 4-0 Friday evening.
The Green Wave fell behind early as the Tigers got the first win of doubles action on court one. Tulane responded on court two as Billy Suarez and Benji Jacobson evened the score in doubles, but Memphis ultimately won the doubles point with a victory on court three.
Tulane was unable to flip the momentum into its favor in singles play as Memphis claimed the first set on all six courts. The Green Wave eventually lost the match 4-0 after the Tigers picked up points on courts one, four, and six.
Up next, Tulane travel to Murfreesboro, Tennessee, to take on Middle Tennessee on Sunday, April 14. The match between the Wave and Blue Raiders is set to begin at 11 a.m.
