
Wave Finishes 11th at the ICSA Women’s Team Race National Championship

BOSTON – Tulane University sailing finished in 11th place out of 12 teams in the 2024 ICSA Women's Team Race National Championship. The national championship regatta was co-hosted by Harvard and MIT on the waters of Charles River.
The Green Wave finished with a 2-9 record through 11 rotations on the water Sunday. Skippers Mia Hanes, Ava Anderson, Audrey Permenter, and Sammie Gardner teamed up with crews Abigail Borggaard, Ellie Spearman, Andrea Riefkohl-Gonzalez, Hope Breslin, and Gillian Perrell to register wins over Penn and Wisconsin in the first round of the regatta.
Competition in the ICSA Women's Team Race National Championship will continue Monday beginning at 9 a.m. CT on the Charles River. Live stream coverage will begin at 12 p.m. CT on ESPN+.
