
Mari Jordan Inks with the Wave

NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane University men's basketball program announced another addition from the transfer portal to its roster for the 2024-25 campaign. Lamariyon "Mari" Jordan has signed with the Green Wave and will join the program this fall.

Jordan joins the Wave after spending last season at Georgia. The 6'6" guard was redshirted his lone season with the Bulldogs and was a recipient of the Mike & Ruth Kooyman Scholarship for 2023-24.

Before joining the Bulldogs in Athens, Jordan was a rated as a four-star recruit out of Norcross High School by ESPN. The Atlanta native ranked 84th in his class by ESPN, 147th by both 247Sports and Rivals.com, and 154th by On3.com.

In his varsity career he compiled 1,768 points, 667 rebounds, 234 assists, and 134 steals in 111 career games. Jordan was tabbed first-team All-County by the Gwinnett Daily Post twice including his senior season when he averaged 16.6 points and 7.6 rebounds.
