Track and Field’s Jack Jennings Concludes Season at NCAA Outdoor Championships

Eugene, Oregon – Tulane's Jack Jennings concluded the 2024 track season at the NCAA Outdoor Championships on Wednesday evening at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon.
Jennings ran in the 10,000m and placed 21st overall with a 29:43.16. He finished the meet as the top ranked runner in the American Athletic Conference (AAC). He qualified to compete at the championships by placing 12th at the NCAA East Round on May 22 with a 29:23.94.
He was the first Tulane student-athlete to qualify for the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships since Kristen O'Handley competed and finished as an All-American in the Heptathlon last season. He was the first Tulane male student-athlete to qualify for the outdoor championships since Emmanuel Rotich in the 3000m steeplechase in 2019. Jennings was just the fourth different male student-athlete to qualify for the outdoor championships since 2015 (Jennings – 2024, Rotich – 2019, 2018 and 2017, Raymond Kibet in 2017 and Devon Breaux in 2015).
