
Tulane Returns to Texas for SEISA Fall Championships

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane University sailing will make the trip back to Corpus Christi, Texas, this weekend to race in the SEISA Fall Championships hosted by Texas A&M – Corpus Christi. The championship regatta will be held at the Corpus Christi Yacht club on the waters of the Corpus Christi Bay on Saturday and Sunday, October 25-26.

Over the weekend the championship regatta will feature the SEISA Fall Open and Women's Fleet Race Championships. Joining the Green Wave on the water for the two championships will be teams from Texas, Texas A&M, and Texas A&M – Corpus Christi. Tulane has won the women's championship six consecutive years and the open title in five-straight completed regattas.

Both championship regattas are scheduled as two-day, combined division events. Racing is slated to begin by 10 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

LAST WEEK
The Wave finished third and eighth last weekend in separate regattas. Tulane placed third among 18 team competing in the Open Atlantic Coast Championship Finals in Annapolis, Maryland, and landed eighth in a field of 18 teams at the Yale Women's Fleet Race in New Haven, Connecticut.
