
Tulane Concludes the Fall at The Judson

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane golf will finish its fall season this week competing at The Judson hosted by Southern Miss on Monday and Tuesday, October 27-28. The two-day, 54-hole tournament will be held at the Hattiesburg Country Club.

The Green Wave will be represented in the final tournament of the fall by six players. Cristina Albertazzi, Sophia Chen, Francesca Pompa, Gabriella Gilrowski, and Sophia Macias will hit the course as the starters for the Wave while Luz Schubert will compete as an individual.

The field in The Judson features 11 teams highlighted including the Green Wave. Tulane will compete on the course against players from Alabama State, Austin Peay, Belmont, Central Arkansas, Lamar, Mississippi College, North Alabama, Samford, Southern Miss, and West Georgia.

Action in the 54-hole tournament will begin with the first two rounds of play on Monday. Teams will tee off with a shotgun start Monday at 8 a.m. to open play for the first round. The third and final round of the tournament will take place on Tuesday.

In its last time out, the Green Wave was led by Albertazzi who tied for 13th overall with a 54-hole score of 216 (E – 70, 75, 71) to help the team place 10th at the Rainbow Wahine Invitational in Hawaii on October 22.
