LSU Hands Tulane 4-0 Defeat on Thursday

NEW ORLEANS – The ninth-ranked LSU women's tennis team came into City Park Tennis Center on Thursday and dished out a 4-0 defeat to host Tulane.
The Green Wave battled valiantly through many of the day's matches. The No. 1 doubles team of Campbell Ricci and Leigh Van Zyl were ahead 4-3 when play was halted after LSU captured the Nos. 2 and 3 matches.
Tulane's Summer Chandler and Micah Pierce each won sets at Nos. 2 and 4 singles, respectively, but the Tigers took the Nos. 3, 5 and 6 matches.
The Green Wave (3-3) will be back home Sunday when Troy visits for a 1 p.m. start.
