Tulane Tees Off in Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational Friday

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane golf will be back in action this weekend for the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational hosted by Mercer from Friday to Sunday, February 21-23. The 54-hol tournament will be held at the National Golf Club in Greensboro, Georgia.

The Green Wave will be represented on the course by Matilde Innocenti, Gabriella Gilrowski, Francesca Pompa, Tonka Zacharovska, and Cristina Albertazzi.

The three-round tournament will open with a shotgun start in the first round on Friday. Starting positions for the Green Wave in the opening round are listed below:
9A: Matilde Innocenti
10A: Francesca Pompa
10B: Gabriella Gilrowski
11: Tonka Zacharovska
12B: Cristina Albertazzi

Tulane will be one of 15 teams represented in the field for the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational. Included in the field are No. 26 Florida and top ranked junior college program Daytona State. The remaining teams competing with the Green Wave will be Mercer, South Dakota State, UAB, Delaware, Western Kentucky, Florida Atlantic, Boston College, Wofford, East Carolina, UNC Greensboro, East Tennessee State, and Western Carolina.

Play in the 54-hole tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 11:30 a.m. CT on Friday. Teams will play 18 holes on each day of the tournament with the second round teeing off Saturday followed by the third and final round on Sunday at 9 a.m CT.
