Green Wave Plays Two in Tampa

TAMPA, FL – The Tulane women's tennis team is back in action this weekend, playing a pair of matches in Tampa.

The Green Wave (4-3) will face UTSA (13-0) at 11 a.m. Saturday at the USF Varsity Tennis Courts. The 44th-ranked Roadrunners, who are in the midst of their best start in school history, knocked off host South Florida 4-2 on Friday.

On Sunday, Tulane will take on the Bulls in another 11 a.m. contest.

USF's (1-9) lone victory this season is a 7-0 decision over Florida A&M on February 2.

Tulane has won four of its last five contests, including a 4-0 drubbing of Troy on Sunday. Campbell Ricci and Summer Chandler are a combined 8-4 this spring at the Nos. 1 and 2 singles spots. Ricci and Leigh Van Zyl are 3-0 at their No. 1 doubles slot.
