NEW ORLEANS – Tulane's women's tennis team got its first victory of the 2025 spring campaign with a 7-0 win over Southern on Tuesday afternoon at City Park Tennis Center.
The Green Wave took both of the Nos. 1 and 2 doubles matches with 6-1 wins on each court and nearly finished it off by taking the third match as well before play was halted.
The team won all six of its singles matches in straight sets with all finishing in less than 90 minutes.
The team will be back in action Friday at 2 p.m. against South Alabama. The Jaguars are 2-0 this season with 6-1 home wins over West Alabama and West Florida.
